For this module in my course with cactus media, me and the entirety of my team were asked to write, produce, and film a live television show located at epic studios for our clients (No fear gardening) we were given a brief and told what the basic outline of what we would be doing for the show and what our research and exprimental methods we would potentially be undertaking, after we received our briefs we had our first client meeting with Ellen Mary from No Fear Gardening she had explained to us that she wanted us to produce her a live show filmed at Epic Studios about gardening and we went into various detail about ideas we could potentially have and what we then going onto to research following the preparation for the live show, we were also informed that the show would be live streamed on facebook. After ideas had been formed on what we were going to create our vt's me and the rest of cactus media had been assigned vt's which they had been given to research into and produce for the vt's and we were also given our specific roles for when filming the live show. For my VT I got assigned to do a section In the show that was related to edible flowers, after being told I was asked to research into companies that sold edible flowers the most apparent one was 'Nurtured in Norfolk' which was suggest to be me by my client Ellen Mary. I into the company and found out about what the company was about and what type of flowers and other various foods they sold afterwards I had been given the email of one of the representatives 'of the company 'Alex' who was the son of the owner of the company we discussed what my VT which had now been changed into a live section of the show would entail and if he was available for him to rehearse and appear on the show, he told me he was available to be on the show and I then went to work on a basic plan forthe section which involved Alex handing out edible flowers to members of the audience. I was also assigned the role of camera operator which would involve me filming the show live with 5 other camera operators. To prepare for this role I went into various creative trials in the tv studios with the other camera opreators and the rest of the members of cactus media also performing their assigned roles. After everything for the show had been created and we had prepared for our roles, we rehearsed twice for the show the first rehearsal wasn't very organised due to some issues with floor plans andproblems with what we could access with epic studios. The next day we had created new floor plans for the cameras, created new directions for presenters and tried out some new ways to film the show, after a very successful rehearsal, we had filmed the live show. The live show had gone very well everything was prepared for correctly the only issues we had were very minor which was mostly to so with vt's and certain issues with content that appeared on the show. I found that me and my teams performance filming the show had gone very well and after some worrying moments the day before not all knowing what would actually happen because of the previous days rehearsal but after the second days rehersal we all worked very well as a unit and handled the show very capably. As for my performance I found for the most part I handled the show very well, I had some doubts about how my performance would of been because of the topic of the live show and how I was going to film it to make it interesting but after some research and some very good direction from my director I found that I had the right idea of how to make my footage look the best it possibly could. The only problem I had when filming the show was when we had the live bands come on, we didn't have any real preparation for it before hand because we didn't have a band rehersal so in the end I had to use some improvisation to some direction from my director upstairs but that wa sonly overall problem I found with individual performance when filming the show, but overall I felt that show went very well and my performance I had given was the best possible one I could of had at the time
